Chhura takes a flight in the air
In those days, it is said, that there lived a white flying horse in a certain corner of the mountain. Chhura and Naa heard about its strange creature and decided to catch it and domesticate it. They went to the forest and proceeded to the top of the hill.
There they found the very horse that they were searching for and approached it as silently as they could, which was ready to fly off.
Then luckyly, Chhura managed to catch on to its legs while Naa held on to Chhura by his waist. But the flying horse carried them up into the sky and flew them around the hill.
After some time Chhura's hands began to ache and he was very tired as he was carrying Naa on his waist. He asked Naa to take his place or to hold on to the other leg of the flying horse.
However Naa protested saying that such a change of position was not possible in the sky and asked Chhura to hold on to the horse. Since Nahaia had played tricks on him, Chhura did not believe him and asked him again to catch the other leg of the horse. But Nahai once again repeated that such a change of position was impossible in the air.
However, Chhura asked him to do it. But Nahaia once again refused to make any change of position and asked Chhura to try his best for their safety.
Chhura became very tired and also very much annoyed as Nahaia refused to change his hold. Then Chhura did not have any other alternative but to let go his hold on the horse's leg.
And so both Chhura and Nahai fell on a big stone under the bush. Some presume that both Chhura and Naa died in this great fall. This is one version of Chhura's death. |
